21 Oct From Bavel to the Exodus -pesach series

The world was created symmetrically until the equilibrium was put out of balance by the first transgression… Adam and
Chava eating the forbidden fruil. As the first sin was left unrectified, the first sin gave ‘birth’ to all other sins. It is the purpose of the Jewish Nation as a conduit of G-d  to learn, live and teach the principles of Torah in order to restore the symmetry as it was, and to go beyond the holiness of the time of Gan Eden. This is the process we call Tshuvah and Tikun Olam, the rectification of the world.

There are many indications in parshas Noach that point to various dimensions of symmetry as the realm of the Infinite becomes manifest in this world. These may sometimes be concealed, sometimes revealed.
A couple such ideas of symmetry can be gleened from the dimension of Noah’s ark. The word for ark is tevah, It also means nature, as in the vessel that represents and holds within it the future of the natural world. It also means word, and so we need to remember that it was with G-d’s utterances that He created the wold, and so too it was Noah as G-ds conduit to resurrect the world anew with the ‘words’ ie the ‘language’ of G-d – His Name,in the newly cleansed earth. To do so, Noah was given the task to bring to the ‘new earth’ the 7 Noachide Laws of Righteous Living ( later to form part of the 613 Laws of Torah). It was deemed that to avoid the previous downfall of Man and the world, boundaries or guidelines for conduct needed to be established.
The dimensions of the Vessel  is 30 cubit X 300 cubit x 50 cubit  corresponding to the Hebrew letters Lamed, Shin and Nun, the letters that spell the word ‘Loshon’ ; word, speech, tongue. We can see through numerous examples there is a powerful correspondence (symmetry) in G-ds Creation of words/ language, letters and numbers etc indicating that the power of creation and recreation lies in the power of speech. Ultimately we can see that everything is connected in the universe be it math, physic, astromomy etc and can be seen in the Torah. The Torah is the ‘unifying conduit’ of G-ds Will.

Noach by name also represents symmetry. The numerical (gematria) value of Noach is 58 and Noach in reverse is Chen (58). Chen is grace, a quality of symmetry. This is a strong indicator of Noach being the most righteous man in him time. His special ability was to remain ‘symmetrical’ and to remain steadfast in his mission without being influence to the right of the left. He did what Hashem told him, nothing more and nothing less.

As time would unfold in the ‘recreation’ of the world, Man and the world would falter. A prime example of this is the lack of connection to G-d that led to the building of the Tower of Bavel.
As the world was created symmetrically, it has been the purpose of man following the fall from Gan Eden to restore that original symmetry as it was at Creation to himself and the world; Tikun Olam.

Where there was the Flood Waters of Noach; a great mikvah that was to purify (restore symmetry),  the world soon fell in to a deficient state
resulting in the idolatrous building of the Tower of Bavel.
Shemos/Exodus Verse 8: [And] the quota of bricks that they made before, you shall place upon them..

Retribution and Restoration
G-d, His Torah contains the keys to restoration of His symmetry of Creation.
When Pharaoh says to the Israelites  to build with bricks as before’Pharaoh (unknowingly) is referring to using the same numbers of bricks used at Bavel. Concealed in Pharaohs  order ‘as before’  is a Tikun-rectification and restoration of symmetry for the transgression of Bavel.

Rashi cites that the Jewish overseers of the other Yiddin received lashes form the Egyptian taskmaster for the lack of production. He cites that it was these Israelites that through this harsh treatment (kappara-atonement) were then worthy to be Sanhedron.

Where our transgressions are not properly dealt with, they will ultimately return in some way to be rectified. What goes around comes around.
It is the process observing learning, living and teaching the principles of Torah which includes our Tshuvah that will restore once again our personal and universal symmetry.

When it comes to retribution we ought repair things swiftly or..,
One way or another, It’s gonna find ya’
It’s gonna get ya’, get ya’, get ya’, get ya’
