The work ‘See the Sounds’, includes insights on the mechanical/technical aspects of blowing shofar to elevate the experience of the shofar listener and the shofar blower.  

As a student, teacher and professional trumpet player I had the privilege to study with some of the greatest brass clinicians in North America. A special mention goes to Don Johnson and Bramwell Smith Sr. (II) whom I spent many years learning with. It was from their teachings that I adapted the methods to the technical aspects of blowing the shofar.
